Robert A. Larson is a Certified Professional Geologist, CPG 4682 – American Institute of Professional Geologists, and a Registered Land Surveyor, PLS 31160 - State of Colorado. He has over 50 years of experience in mining, exploration, surveying, permitting, and reclamation within various localities of the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

 

Mr. Larson graduated with an Engineer of Mines degree from the Colorado School of Minesin 1968; is a Legion of Honor Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) Section of AIME, and meets the requirements for a Qualified Person(QP) under NI 43-101 and SEC S-K 1300 statutes and regulations. Mr. Larson’s mining experience includes base and precious metal mining, engineering, permitting, and management for both surface and underground operations. Exploration (Notice of Intent) Permits, together with 110 and 112 Mining Permits, have been prepared and implemented for the Department of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (DRMS). Water Discharge Permits (NPDES), water monitoring, sampling, and reporting have been conducted for several projects to comply with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) regulations. Stormwater permits have been written and annual reports prepared for various locations in the State of Colorado . Exploration experience includes precious metals, base metals, uranium-vanadium, and industrial minerals in various geological environments.

 

Uranium exploration, development, mining, and reclamation include projects in the Uravan Mineral Belt, CO; Lisbon Valley, Utah; Tallahassee Creek, CO; Maybelle, CO; Durango, CO; and various locations in New Mexico and Wyoming. Projects within the San Juan Mountains of Colorado include the Idarado Mine, where mining engineering, geology, and operations management duties were performed. Mr.Larson was the Manager of Operations for the Revenue-Virginius Mine, Ranchers Exploration and Development Corp., in the 1970s and 1980s. He later became a Technical Advisor for subsequent operators of the Revenue-Virginius and the Camp Bird mines. Exploration projects throughout the San Juans include the Red Mountain area, the Silverton area, the Ouray vicinity, the La Plata mountains, the Camp Bird, Revenue-Virginius, Ruby Trust, Mountain Top, and Wanakah mines.
